My Story

Hi, I’m Elissa,

and I’m so glad that you’re here!

As a Board-Certified Health Coach (NBC-HWC), Culinary Nutritionist, and Yoga Teacher, I help women living with chronic pain, stubborn weight, or autoimmune fatigue find relief, steady energy, and sustainable change through a holistic, practical approach to whole-person health.

My coaching is rooted in the six pillars of health: nourishment, movement, sleep, stress management, mindset, and connection. Together, we look beyond food alone to create rhythms and habits that support your body, mind, and spirit—without perfection or overwhelm.

I created Let’s Be Nourished as a space where women can soften their relationship with food and their bodies, rediscovering ease, curiosity, and joy as part of their healing journey.

My own path to this work began in 2017. After months of pain and unanswered questions, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 31. I couldn’t get up and down off the floor without intense pain. I was heartbroken that I couldn’t play with my daughter the way I longed to—and deeply uncertain about what the future would hold.

By 2019, I was determined to reclaim my health without relying on medication alone. I sought support from holistic practitioners, chiropractors, and nutritionists, explored movement as medicine, and eventually became a yoga teacher to support both my body and my spirit. I leaned more deeply into the healing power of nourishment, pursued advanced nutrition training, and spent years in the kitchen—ultimately working my way up to executive chef.

That journey reshaped not just how I ate, but how I lived and understood health.

In 2023, I began formal training as a health coach and earned my National Board Certification (NBC-HWC) in 2025. Today, I blend lived experience, evidence-based coaching, culinary wisdom, and compassionate support to help women feel more at home in their bodies again.

I invite you to come on in—
and together,

Let’s Be Nourished.

My approach is gentle, personalized, and rooted in the belief that nourishment is about so much more than what’s on your plate

Whether you're overwhelmed, burnt out, or simply feeling disconnected from your own needs, I create a compassionate space where you can slow down, tune in, and take care of you. Through 1:1 coaching and group programs, we’ll work together to rebuild energy, restore balance, and make small shifts that lead to lasting change—without the pressure of perfection.

This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about coming home to yourself, one nourishing choice at a time.
